Moving Forward:
Beyond five years

Breast cancer diagnosed November 2003. I was 43. I had a full mastecomy Dec 2004 on the left breast. Chemo for 6 months. Luckily I was offered a trial for Herceptin and took it for a year and half. And that was 8 years ago.

I am still very over weight, and have a lot of flushing. I also have fibromyalgia & I haven’t had a reconstruction yet but I will when I am ready.

Each day is a new day & I am taking it one step at a time. Its been a long and sometimes painful road but I have learnt a lot of things about life and made good friends along the way.
