Moving Forward:
Beyond five years

My breast cancer was 14 years ago, my girls were little and I thought it was the end. Now I have moved forward and opened my own magazine (not a franchise). I now own and run a local journal.

It took cancer to make me realise life is for living. I still have odd day when I remember that awful feeling of going downhill on a rollercoaster with no brakes. I stayed brave for my girls and my husband.

At first I did not ask for support but after a while I realised I could not go it alone. I contacted Breast Cancer Care who were there for me.
